The kids were given an assignment by their School class teacher to write a poetry on their own so that they can participate in the upcoming 'On the spot' Poetry competition in school
This is a great move because most of the schools almost have Drawing & coloring competitions, story telling or Poetry recitation
But what really irks me is 'Why don't the school organize a Poetry Writing Workshop for a day and teach the kids '?' Kids are so weak in their vocabulary skills
Many of them, in spite of having word vocabulary on independence ready for them, could not use their brains to frame the poetry
Writing poetry may not be a liking activity to a student who loves to watch TV cartoon shows or play sports games
